- Button 3 = Third digit
- Button 4 = Fourth digit
- Button 5 = Fifth digit

What is ERROR E or ERR?
The ERR error (also called ERROR E) appears when you've entered the wrong unlock PIN too many times. Honda Civic systems lock after ten tries to prevent theft.
How to Reset ERR Error:
Method 1 (Recommended):
- Disconnect your battery for 1-3 minutes
- Reconnect the battery
- Turn ignition ON — display returns to "CODE"
- You now have ten tries again to enter your unlock PIN
Method 2 (No Battery Disconnect):
- Leave the system OFF for 1 hour
- The ERR error will automatically reset to "CODE"
