A radio unlock code, also known as an anti-theft code is a unique numeric unlock key that reactivates your car audio system after it has been disabled.
This security code is triggered when the radio detects a power interruption.
This system helps prevent stolen radios from working in other vehicles.
If power is interrupted, the radio stops functioning and asks for the CODE before it can function normally.
Once the correct numbers is entered, the stereo is fully reactivated.

2. Find the Serial Number on the Radio Unit's Sticker
To find the serial number, you'll need to pull out the head unit from the dashboard.
- Start by turning off the vehicle and removing the trim panel.
- Next, release the clips and pull the unit forward to check the label on the side of the radio. Pay attention not to damage the cables that the unit is connected to.
- Write down full serial number precisely and come back to the website.
- Know that serial number and part number are not the same thing. You will find both of them on the sticker, and you only need for the serial.
Physical Removal of Your Acura NSX Radio
If the on-screen method doesn't work, the Acura NSX radio can be removed by unclipping the surrounding trim panel. The serial is on a label on the top or side of the radio unit. Take care with the trim clips.
