04 Reselling under your own brand

Approved API partners may sell the codes to their own customers, under their own brand, on four conditions:

  • Your customers confirm they own the vehicle and radio, or are authorised to service it.
  • You do not use the FindRadioCode name, logo or brand, or present yourself as FindRadioCode.
  • You handle payment, support and refunds for your own customers.
  • We may suspend a key used for stolen radios, abnormal request patterns or a breach of these terms.

05 API questions

You prepay for credits in amounts of $500, $750, $1,000, $1,500, $2,000 or $3,000, and your price per code depends on how much you spend in a calendar month: $10 per code from $500, $9 per code from $750 (10% off), $8 per code from $1,000 (20% off), $7 per code from $1,500 (30% off), $6 per code from $2,000 (40% off) and $5 per code from $3,000 (50% off). Purchases in the same month add up, so a second $500 top-up is credited at the $1,000 rate (62 codes instead of 50). 1 credit = 1 successful instant code, at the same price for every instant radio. Credits never expire, and you top up online from your Pro dashboard.

No. Serial validation is free, and a serial we do not support is rejected before any credit is used. If a supported serial fails to decode, the credit is returned to your balance automatically.

These are ordered from the manufacturer: Uconnect T00AM and T**QN at $15 per code, Renault and Dacia by VIN at $15 per code, Mopar T0071 and T00AD at $30 per code, Nissan LCN at $30 per code and Mercedes anti-theft PIN at $50 per code. They are billed separately from your balance and delivered within 24 hours instead of through /decode, which rejects them before anything is charged. Uconnect T00AM and T**QN, Mopar T0071 and T00AD, and Renault and Dacia by VIN are getting their own API endpoint at the same prices - until then they are handled by hand.

Not available through the API: VW, Audi, Skoda and Seat (VAG), Nissan Clarion, LCN and Daewoo, the Mercedes PIN, Renault and Dacia by VIN, and short 13-character Continental serials.

Yes. The /serial-validate endpoint is free and returns the radio type and delivery estimate. The recommended flow is: validate the serial, charge your customer, then call /decode.

Yes. Approved API partners may integrate the API into their own website, app or workshop software and resell codes to their customers. Your customers must confirm they own the vehicle and radio, you may not use the FindRadioCode name or brand, and you handle support and refunds for your own customers.
