Aptiv Uconnect 5 UJM (VP2.8.4 HDCC platform) is the 8.4-inch flush-mounted touchscreen head unit for North American Dodge Durango WD trucks with SiriusXM and the HDCC (Hard Drive / Connectivity Centre) hardware option. The "UJM" code is the radio identifier; the larger screen dominates the centre stack and shows a NAV tile alongside Radio, Media and Phone.

- 2019-2023: Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Challenger (high trims sharing the 8.4 VP2 HDCC stack)
UJM is the 8.4-inch nav-equipped Durango variant. If your screen is 7 inches and tapping NAV returns "Feature not available," you have the UAG 7-inch non-nav unit instead. If you have a base Durango with no SXM and a 5-inch screen, you have the VP2.5 base unit, not UJM.
Where to find your serial number
White printed label on the top of the chassis, near the rear edge. Three 7mm bolts and two trim clips release the dash bezel; pull the unit forward and the label is on the upper surface near the back. No on-screen serial menu is available while the radio is locked.
Format on the label: T0MYD##### (5 digits after the prefix). Example: T0MYD78214.
How to enter the code once you receive it
Locked 8.4-inch screen overlays a four-digit numeric keypad in the centre of the display. Tap the digits in order; the radio auto-verifies on the fourth digit and unlocks immediately on success. There is no separate OK or Enter button.
Why your radio is locked
Loss of 12V power for more than about a minute - dead battery, battery replacement, jump-start failure, alternator service, or removal of the radio. Durango SRT owners often see this after race-day battery swaps.
If you entered the wrong code
Three wrong codes triggers a 30-minute "INCORRECT CODE - WAIT" countdown. Keep the ignition in RUN or ACC for the timer to count down - cutting power resets it to 30 minutes. The radio never permanently locks; the correct code always works once the timer expires.
