Fitted as original equipment in selected Chrysler models, the Chrysler RET Alpine handles audio playback and vehicle integration out of the box. Depending on the version, it can also add Bluetooth, touchscreen operation, CD/DVD playback, navigation or wider multimedia support.
RET Alpine is a lower-volume Alpine-audio MyGIG variant sharing the 6.5-inch HDD-nav touchscreen platform with REL/REQ but carrying its own service-parts line. Typically fitted to specific export and option-code combinations through 2013.

- Switch the ignition on and let the radio boot to its security screen.

Common problems
The unit will not take more codes
Wrong codes put the unit into a lockout, and the only fix is to leave it powered and wait. Three wrong codes triggers a 60-minute "WAIT" countdown. Keep ignition in RUN or ACC while the timer runs.
Where the number actually is

The radio locked itself again
Expected behaviour: the security system trips again whenever power is cut. Loss of constant 12V - battery disconnect, dead battery, or radio removal.
