MyGIG NTG4 REN Overview
The MyGIG NTG4 REN is a factory-fitted Chrysler audio and multimedia unit. Alongside standard radio and audio playback it may include touchscreen controls, Bluetooth, CD/DVD playback or factory navigation, depending on how the vehicle left the factory.
REN is the base non-navigation MyGIG unit. It has a 6.5-inch touchscreen, AM/FM/CD, optional SiriusXM, USB and an aux jack, but no built-in hard drive and no map navigation. The display shows large source icons (RADIO, MEDIA, MORE) along the bottom edge.

Step One: The Serial Number
The code is calculated from the radio's own serial number, so that number is the only thing you need before ordering. It is printed on the factory sticker of the unit itself, not in the vehicle documents.
On this unit: Printed on a white sticker on the top of the radio chassis, near the back-right corner. The unit must come out of the dash to read it - there is no on-screen menu option to display the serial on REN. Two T20 Torx screws hold the trim bezel.

Typing the code into your MyGIG NTG4 REN

Troubleshooting the MyGIG NTG4 REN
The unit will not take more codes
Wrong codes put the unit into a lockout, and the only fix is to leave it powered and wait. After three wrong codes REN displays "WAIT" and locks the keypad for one hour. Leave the key in the ON position (engine off is fine) - the timer only counts down with power applied. Once the correct code clears the screen the radio remembers it; the lock will not return unless 12V is lost again.

It is asking for the code a second time
By design, every loss of power resets the anti-theft lock. REN locks any time it loses 12V for more than a few minutes - typical triggers are a dead or replaced battery, an alternator change, or a body shop disconnecting the battery during repair.
