How the service works
The whole process needs one piece of information and a few minutes.
- 1 Get the serial off the radio Look for it on the sticker on the housing. The radio normally has to come forward a little - the wiring can stay plugged in.
- 2 Type it into the box Exactly as printed, without spaces or dashes. The format is checked before you pay.
- 3 Get your code The code appears the moment the payment clears, and a copy goes to your email. Save it - the same four digits work for the life of the radio.
Money-back guarantee if the code does not open your radio.
Same label, different radio: yours carries its own serial in this spot.
Identify Your MyGIG NTG4 RHW Radio
Not sure if your vehicle is fitted with the MyGIG NTG4 RHW? Check the design, controls, display and features listed below against your factory radio.
Typical identification features:
- 6.5" touchscreen in the centre of the dash
- Factory navigation with maps built in
- Sales code RHW on the chassis label
- Serial number starting with T00AM, T00BE, T0012
This is probably your radio if:
- the chassis label carries the RHW sales code
- the serial on the label starts with T00AM, T00BE, T0012
- the vehicle was built between 2011-2013
- the screen is the 6.5" touchscreen fitted to the MyGIG NTG4
RHW shares its face and software with RHR. Distinguish by chassis part number and by whether the vehicle has a premium-audio badge on the door speakers.
MyGIG NTG4 RHW Overview
The MyGIG NTG4 RHW is an original factory-installed head unit developed for selected Chrysler vehicles. Designed to provide reliable audio playback and vehicle integration, this unit may also offer Bluetooth connectivity, touchscreen controls, CD/DVD playback, navigation or multimedia support, depending on the specific version.
RHW is the premium-audio variant of RHR - same 6.5-inch hard-drive navigation, factory-paired with the highest amplifier and speaker package (Alpine, Boston Acoustics or Harman/Kardon depending on year and vehicle).
Between 2011-2013 the MyGIG NTG4 RHW appeared across a number of Chrysler models, usually on vehicles using the Harman multimedia platform. It stayed in production long enough to become a familiar sight in that generation of cars.
Common features on this unit:
6.5" touchscreen
AM/FM radio
Built-in navigation with factory maps
Music hard drive for ripped discs
CD playback
AUX and USB input*
Steering wheel control support
Anti-theft security code
*Availability varies with the vehicle specification.
As with other Harman factory units, the MyGIG NTG4 RHW locks itself when power is lost. After a battery disconnect or a workshop visit the screen will prompt for the original security code before any audio returns.
How to Get the Serial Number From Your Radio
The code is generated from the radio's own serial number, so that number is the only thing you need before ordering. It is printed on the chassis label of the unit itself, not in the vehicle documents.
On this unit: Top of the chassis label. Radio removal required.
Three steps to the serial number:
- Ease the radio out of the dash - most units need a pair of release keys, which cost very little online.
- Read the serial from the factory sticker on the housing, next to or under the barcode.
- Type it into the form exactly as printed, with no spaces or dashes.

Vehicle compatibility can differ between trims, model years and regional versions. Because the same car could leave the factory with different radios, identify your unit before placing an order.
Once the code arrives
It takes less than a minute once you have the four digits.
- Turn the ignition on so the radio powers up and shows the locked screen.
- A keypad for the code fills the middle of the screen.
- Tap the four digits of your code in order.
- There is no separate OK button - the radio checks the code on the last tap.
- A correct code clears the lock screen and the audio comes straight back.
If something goes wrong
Too many wrong attempts
After a few wrong entries the radio stops accepting codes for a while - cutting power only restarts the clock. 60-minute WAIT timer after three wrong attempts.
The label is not where I expected
Nothing on the car's menus shows it - the number lives on the radio's own label. Top of the chassis label. Radio removal required.
The radio locked itself again
That is normal - the anti-theft system re-arms every time the unit loses power. Loss of 12V supply.
This radio looks like several others
The differences are easy to miss, so check this before ordering. RHW shares its face and software with RHR. Distinguish by chassis part number and by whether the vehicle has a premium-audio badge on the door speakers.
Write the code down - the same four digits work for the life of the unit.
